Association

The “Association Sommerakademie Paul Klee” was founded in July 2017. President of the association is Felicity Lunn, head of the Division of Design and Fine Arts at the Bern Academy of the Arts HKB, and vice president is Annaïk Lou Pitteloud, artist and lecturer at the Bern Academy of the Arts HKB. Marianne Flotron, artist and co-director of the BA Fine Arts at the Bern Academy of the Arts HKB, and Hannah Rocchi, manager of the Sommerakademie Paul Klee, are also members of the association.

Author and curator Tirdad Zolghadr was appointed artistic director as well as guest curator of the programmes 2017-20, artist Dora García was the curator 2021/22, and cultural worker Andrea Thal was the curator 2023/24. Curator and art historian Pauline Hatzigeorgiou is the new curator 2025.
